Eligibility Criteria for Adelaide Academic Excellence Scholarship
You must be an international student.
You must be applying for an eligible CRICOS-registered coursework degree at Adelaide University:
either a bachelor's degree of at least 96 units after any credit/RPL, or a master's degree of
at least 72 units after any credit/RPL.
You must meet the academic standard used for admission into the degree. For undergraduate
applicants, this means a minimum ATAR of 99 or an international equivalent. For undergraduate
and postgraduate applicants, this means a minimum overall GPA of 6.7 on a 7.0 scale or a
comparable score.
You must not be applying for one of the excluded programs listed by the university.

You must not be an Australia Awards recipient.
You must not be an international sponsored student whose tuition fee waiver is equal to or
greater than the scholarship value. The university says you cannot receive both the
scholarship and a sponsor tuition waiver at the same time.

Scholarship Conditions Students Must Continue to Meet
To keep receiving the Adelaide Academic Excellence Scholarship throughout their studies,
recipients must:
Remain an international student for the entire duration of the scholarship.
Maintain a minimum Program Term GPA of 5.5 out of 7.0 in every compulsory study period.
Continue making satisfactory academic progress in their enrolled program.
Remain enrolled in an eligible degree program covered by the scholarship.
Comply with all university rules, regulations, and scholarship requirements.
Maintain full-time enrolment for the standard duration of the program, unless approved
otherwise by the university.
What Happens If the GPA Requirement Is Not Met?
If your Program Term GPA falls below 5.5/7.0, the scholarship may be suspended.
During the suspension period, the scholarship will not be applied to your tuition fees.
If your GPA later returns to 5.5/7.0 or higher, the scholarship can be reinstated and
applied to future tuition invoices.

You must first apply for admission to an eligible undergraduate or postgraduate coursework
